The Mendocino County Mystery of Highway 20. California 1979.

On July 8, 1979 the skeletal remains of two victims were found near Highway 20, West of Willitts, in Mendocino County, California. Victim number one is described as a white male about 13 years old with light brown hair and around 5 feet 5 inches tall. Victim number two is a white female about 5 feet 5 and ½ inches tall with light brown hair and her estimated age is not over 14 years old. It was originally suspected that they were brother and sister, but DNA tests confirm that they were not related.
