The Mystery of Boulder Canyon. Colorado 1954.

On April 18, 1954, two college students hiking in Boulder Canyon, Colorado discovered the body of a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall between the ages of 17 to 20 years old, with light brown or blondish hair with a tinge of red. Her hair did not appear to have been dyed. Neither her clothing or other evidence was found to identify the victim despite and intensive search. Police at that time believe she may have been the victim of serial killer Harvey Glatman, who was known for posing as a photographer to lure his victims into the woods to take nude photographs. Glatman was executed in 1959 in California for the murders of three women. Police also believe the identity of the victim could be Katherine Dyer who disappeared in March 1954, but her immediate family can’t be located for DNA testing.
