The Mystery of Madison County. Alabama. 1997

On October 16, 1997, a hunter discovered the skeletal remains of a while female between the ages of 15 to 19 years old, standing 4 feet 10 to 5 feet 1 in height, with shoulder length hair. This unidentified victim who is believed to have been deceased for a period of up to 1 - 1 1/2 years was found in a remote wooded area of Madison County, Alabama, near Indian Creek Road, South of Kelly Spring Road. The body was wrapped in plastic sheeting commonly used in construction and was secured with gray duct tape. Investigators believe that sometime in late 1996, the nude body of the teenaged girl was dumped in Madison County's Indian Creek where she drifted down the creek, and washed up onto the bank.
