James Mitchell DeBardeleben likely did this crime as part of a "celebration" or "anniversary" crime in relation to his likely Lyon sisters kidnapping in 1975 at Wheaton Plaza.

Katherine went missing the week of Spring break 1979 - the Lyon girls went missing Spring Break 1975.

The Lyon girls were a "perfect" crime - because he showed his face to the public actually speaking to the Lyon girls (Tape Recorder Man) just prior to their vanishing.

Cynthia Gastelle was taken off the streets of Silver Spring in 1980 - again as a celebration or anniversary of The Lyon girls. DeBardeleben was taunting and mocking the police.

Gastelle's remains were found in 1982 in Prince Williams County VA and identified as her in 2011 through DNA.

Katherine O'neal Anderson likely fell prey to DeBardeleben's police officer ruse and he overwhelmed her between leaving the car service station in Annapolis and before she set out to go back to work over the Bay Bridge. She likely was doing errands.

I do not know, but believe that her boyfriend knew where to tell others to look for Katherine's vehicle because it was likely parked in a shopping center where she had set out to run errands.

The Secret Service is likely sitting on photographs that DeBardeleben took of him committing sexual crimes against Katherine. The family or friends can compel the police to search the Secret Service's MOUNTAIN of evidence and find connections to Katherine there.
